She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership & Curriculum and instigates change wherever she goes. She is the curator of TEDxYouth@AnnArbor, a licensed independent TED event to provide a powerful platform for Youth Voice. She lead her team at Skyline to win the Gale/Cengage Teams Award in 2011. Dr. Duvall has published several articles with her Skyline team about the Curriculum & Portfolio Integration Project. The project has expanded into organization of digital research through Student Learning Networks, and a modern organization of library research materials for ease of access digitally. She openly shares the ‘process’ used and the results garnered in print, online and at local, state and international conferences in order to create a widely replicable model for 21st century education. Ian Jukes, educator and futurist said, “We must teach our students for their future, not our past.” She is passionate about how we actually change our teaching to accomplish education that is relevant to our students’ future.
